What is a wellness coach?

When you choose to partner with a holistic wellness coach like me, you commit to investing time and energy into yourself. You choose yourself and decide to work toward your goals. You get to know yourself by uncovering the patterns and behaviours keeping you stuck.

What is a holistic wellness coach?

A holistic wellness coach empowers you to make changes in your life that you've been putting at the bottom of your list, yet, you know they need to be done because they will make your life better.

My mentor, Marion Franklin, simply defines coaching as the process of getting what you want. 

How? By allowing you to figure out which direction and actions are needed to get what you want. 

It's like having a personal trainer for your mind.

As a holistic wellness coach, we empower you to take a holistic (whole) view of your health and wellbeing. 

I like to say that health isn't only the absence of disease or pain. Health is our ability to live our lives in joy and fulfilment, despite any challenges.

Wellness coaches allow you to prioritise and simplify the actions that, over time, will get you the life you want and closer to your best self.

What can a holistic wellness coach (like me) do for you?

A wellness coach can do for you what a friend cannot - that is, hold space for you as you show up for your goals, help you set goals with intention, get motivated and help you build awareness on the patterns and behaviours that are holding you back. 

You choose to show up for you

As you choose to show up for each coaching session, you choose to reflect and uncover the patterns and thinking that keeps you stuck.

We prioritise the goals that will get you closer to the life you want to be living, and each session, you show up, and we work towards them together.

Studies show that people who actively participate in their wellbeing and take steps like hiring a coach, do better with stress and chronic illness.

Get motivated to make changes

Motivation is such a big word. The truth is most of us aren't always 100% motivated for some of the best things we want in our lives.

I see motivation as a natural step once we get to the root of why you are not choosing to take action in the first place. 

Motivation comes more naturally when the outcome of our goals align with who we are and want to be!

Motivation compounds over time, too. It takes one small action, one easy action, in the direction of your goals, consistently, that create our best motivation.

Build your awareness through questioning and reflection

As a coach, I listen differently than how a close friend would. 

I listen to understand and reflect on what I hear are your challenges. 

You can 'hear' (and understand) yourself from a different perspective through coaching. I shift your mindset through questioning, and you can reflect and discover what is truly keeping you stuck and from living the life you want.

Discover the patterns and thinking holding you back

We go deeper into your patterns during our coaching sessions.

Through questioning, I help you get to the root of your challenges. If we don't understand ourselves, we can't make sustainable and meaningful changes in our lives.

How many times have you caught yourself saying, "I should really do more of that" or "I wish I had the confidence to say no" or "if only I had the motivation to get started with that" or "I wish I had the energy for all that" or "I should exercise and make better food choices".



How coaching with me works

First, we choose each other.

The choice to work with a client is one I don't take lightly; that's why when you sign up for coaching, we both choose to partner together.

We begin with a 45-minute complimentary chemistry session which you can book below. It's an important step for us to feel like we connect and confirm that I can help you with your challenges. 

During this obligation-free session, we uncover your current challenges and discuss what makes it difficult for you to tackle them alone.

Shift perspective, change your life

I help you shift your perspective (your mindset) to take action from a place where you understand yourself better.

How often do you take the time to reflect on the things you are choosing and what you are not choosing to do every day?

How often do you reflect on the patterns, behaviours, and thoughts getting in the way?

I partner with you to get out of your own way and take small (intentional) steps toward the life you want to create for yourself.

You become your biggest fan.

In time, you become your biggest fan. You see the changes you can make and build confidence in how great you are at creating the life you want.

You gain confidence as you take steps in the direction of the life you want and get to know yourself on a deeper level, which means you become more compassionate with yourself.

I give you the space to uncover and reflect on every aspect you are trying to change.

Reflections and questions that make you think

I give you insight into your thinking and the behaviour I hear you describe through reflection. Clients describe this as holding up a mirror to what is happening in their lives.

As I ask you questions, you begin to shift your thinking and reflect on aspects of the stories you are telling yourself and get to know yourself on a deeper level.

Some questions are simple, and some are more thought-provoking. There's a power to reflect aloud to someone holding space for you and listening to understand.

When you hire a coach you hire an accountability partner. As you actively participate and show up for each session you choose to show up for yourself and make the changes you’ve always wanted to make.

Coaching is valuable because we it’s very difficult to transform our thinking on our own - we are pros at rationalising every choice we make. To get clear on the patterns and behaviours holding you back, someone (that lives outside of your own head), needs to shake things up by exploring your thoughts and asking questions that you may not have considered before.

1. Book a complimentary session

2. Time to decide

I will give you time to think about your decision. If you feel ready to show up for yourself through coaching and we both feel that we are a good fit, we get started.

3. Choose a package

All my packages include a payment plan (the price you see is what you pay, regardless of whether you pay upfront or in instalments). My packages range from 4 - 8 coaching sessions, and we usually meet bi-weekly unless we agree otherwise.

4. We begin 

After you pay your deposit, we get started. All you have to do is show up with an open mindset and ready to dive deeper into the life you want to create. Our sessions focus on addressing the biggest challenges that keep you from creating the change you want!
